Description
LED VU3 Linear Luminaire – Central Light + Two Tiltable Spots
1200 mm · black · 3000 K warm white · CRI > 90
This LED VU3 linear luminaire combines three lighting tools in one housing: a wide central light for uniform ambient illumination and two individually tiltable spots for targeted accents. General and accent lighting are covered by a single luminaire. For controllable lighting this linear luminaire is optionally available as a DALI-2 version. It can then be dimmed steplessly and integrated conveniently into modern light-management and building-control systems.

Central light + two tiltable spots
At its core is the mix of a 100° central module for flat illumination and two tiltable 30° × 90° spots. The 0° to 30° tilt directs light onto walls, displays or work surfaces – variable and adjustable at any time.
The tiltable spots are particularly strong for shelf and shelf-aisle lighting: they direct light precisely onto shelf fronts and displays, so products along the aisles are evenly lit and clearly visible.
Perfect colour rendering for retail & boutiques
CRI > 90 delivers exceptionally brilliant, realistic colour rendering. Especially in shops, boutiques, galleries and deli areas where exact colours matter, textiles, products and displays look vivid and authentic – every detail becomes an eye-catcher and the merchandise shows at its best.
Long service life – L80 at 100,000 hours
L80 at 100,000 hours means: after 100,000 operating hours the LEDs still emit at least 80 % of their initial luminous flux. Light output declines only slowly and evenly over the entire service life, so the luminaire stays bright even after years of continuous use.
High-quality LED chips by Sanan
For light generation we rely on high-quality Sanan LEDs. Sanan Optoelectronics is one of the world's largest LED chip makers and the market leader in China; the company invests continuously in R&D and holds over a thousand patents. Its chips deliver high efficacy, precise colour rendering and a long, low-maintenance service life – ideal conditions for professional continuous operation.
Mounting & track compatibility
As a track spotlight for the 3-phase busbar, the luminaire is flexible to place, aim and extend. Via its adapter it is compatible with the common standards: Stucchi, Global, Staff, Unipro, Eutrac, Ivela and the EU universal standard. The three phases allow separately switchable lighting groups on one track. Up to 16 luminaires per circuit (< 800 W), Safety Class I with protective earth.
Colour temperature 3000 K – warm white
Warm white light creates a cosy, homely atmosphere – suited to hospitality, boutiques, hotels and reception areas.
Why CRI > 90 delivers slightly fewer lumens
The fact that CRI > 90 delivers somewhat fewer lumens than CRI > 80 is directly linked to its better colour rendering. To render colours true to life, the LED needs a broader spectrum with an increased red share. This share contributes less to measured brightness because the eye is less responsive there, and the required conversion causes extra losses. The result is a slightly lower luminous flux and somewhat lower efficacy (lm/W) – a worthwhile trade wherever perfect colours matter more than the last lumen.
Black housing: luminous flux & look
The black housing delivers somewhat fewer lumens than the white one because of the different reflection inside the luminaire. Part of the LED light is redirected off the internal surfaces before it leaves the fixture. White surfaces reflect almost completely, whereas black surfaces absorb a share and release it as heat. As a result, luminous flux and efficacy (lm/W) are slightly lower with a black housing. The trade-off pays off wherever a discreet, low-glare and premium look matters more than the last lumen – for example in boutiques, shops and upscale interiors.
