Description

LED High Bay Light Mildbeam 200W | 32,000lm | UGR<21 | IP65 & IK10 Pro Quality

Maximum light output for large-scale areas: Our Mildbeam LED high bay light with 200 watts is the high-power solution for professional lighting tasks in large sports facilities, industrial halls, and logistics centres. With an impressive efficiency of 160 lm/W and a luminous flux of 32,000 lumens, this luminaire replaces conventional hall lighting with significantly higher energy consumption while saving up to 90% in energy costs.

Why this luminaire is the right choice: Whether for large tennis, football, or golf halls, high-bay warehouses with mounting heights exceeding 10 metres, or expansive production facilities – thanks to UGR<21 glare control, it is approved for VDU workstations and extended training sessions. The aluminium housing with IK10 certification withstands the toughest mechanical stress, making the Mildbeam 200W the ideal choice for ball-impact-safe sports environments and harsh industrial applications.

Your Advantages in Operation and Installation

  • Pro-Grade vs. Standard High Bay Lights: While many 200W luminaires only achieve 130–140 lm/W, the Mildbeam delivers high-efficiency 160 lm/W at LED level – for 32,000 lumens of true system output (Energy Efficiency Class D on the new EU scale A–G, equivalent to A++ under the old standard). At its core is a Sosen driver with active PFC filter and multi-stage protection.
  • Wide-Area Illumination for Large Halls: With 32,000 lumens and a 110° beam angle, you can evenly and glare-free illuminate areas of several hundred square metres – ideal for halls with ceiling heights from 3 to over 10 metres.
  • 1-10V Dimming Interface: Reduce lighting to 10% during training sessions or when areas are unoccupied – this saves energy twice over and provides orientation light without dark zones.
  • Microwave Sensor Compatibility: The dimming interface enables automatic control via motion and presence detectors – no more manual switching, no unnecessary continuous operation.
  • Glare-Free Working Despite High Output: UGR<21 means fatigue-free light, even during shift work or hours-long training sessions under hall roofs – a decisive advantage over conventional high bay floodlights.
  • Colour Fidelity: With CRI > 80, colours appear natural – essential for sports broadcasts, quality inspections, and fine assembly work.
  • Flexible Mounting: Suspension via two pre-assembled steel cables – the luminaire is ready for use in minutes and securely adapts to various ceiling heights. For side wall mounting, we recommend our compatible : Mounting Bracket.
  • Power Factor > 0.95: Budget drivers often operate with PF < 0.5. For commercial operations, this means high reactive power costs. Our integrated Sosen driver works highly efficiently and saves additional grid charges.
  • Longevity: With a lifespan of 50,000 hours (L90B10) and an operating temperature range of -40 to +50°C, this luminaire is virtually maintenance-free – even in uninsulated halls or cold storage facilities.

Applications

  • Large Sports Facilities: Tennis, football, golf, and multi-purpose halls with high demands on glare control and ball-impact safety – even with spectator attendance.
  • Industry & Logistics: High-bay warehouses, production halls, loading areas – ideal for mounting heights from 3 to over 10 metres and large floor areas.
  • Workshops & Trades: Automotive workshops, joineries, metalworking with glare-free light for precision tasks across large surfaces.
  • Events & Exhibition Halls: Temporary lighting with maximum efficiency and flexible dimming control for large room volumes.
  • Cold Storage & Warehouses: Thanks to temperature resistance from -40°C to +50°C, also suitable for extreme environments.

Light Colour Details

  • 4000K (Neutral White): The "gold standard" for productive work environments and sports facilities. Activating, natural light that promotes concentration and renders colours faithfully – ideal for large production halls, warehouses, and training operations.
  • Distinction from Cool White (6000K): Cool white light can quickly appear sterile in large halls and cause eye fatigue. Neutral white offers the optimal compromise between alertness and visual comfort – especially important during long working or training sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Mildbeam 200W High Bay Light

  • What hall size can 32,000 lumens cover? At 200W and 160 lm/W, you can illuminate areas of 200–400 m² (depending on ceiling height and desired illuminance). For precise planning, we provide an IES file for DIALux on request.
  • Can I mix the 120W and 200W variants? Yes, both Mildbeam variants share the same 1-10V dimming characteristic and optics. You can easily combine them in a single project – e.g., 120W for peripheral zones, 200W for the main court or field.
  • What is the optimal mounting height? With a 110° beam angle, the 200W variant is particularly suited for heights from 6 to over 12 metres. For extremely high halls (>12 m), we recommend narrower beam optics – please contact us for advice. For side wall mounting, our : Mounting Bracket is available.
  • Is CRI>80 sufficient for sports broadcasts? For training and amateur sports, CRI>80 is perfectly adequate. For TV broadcasts in Full HD or 4K, we recommend luminaires with CRI>90 – ask us for expert guidance.
  • Is this luminaire suitable for permanent outdoor use? Thanks to IP65, it is dust-tight and protected against water jets. For permanent outdoor use without a roof, we recommend our dedicated LED-Floodlight.
