Description
LED Post Top Luminaire V2 Series – Straight arm (single arm)
20/40/60 W and 3000/3500/4000 K by switch · Type V · IP66 · up to 9,900 lm
This LED post top luminaire combines clean design with very practical technology. Two small switches inside let you choose colour temperature and power – one product therefore covers several applications and you need fewer different luminaires in stock. For controllable installations the luminaire is also available as a DALI version on request. It can then be dimmed steplessly, switched in groups and integrated into a central lighting control system.

Lamp head: flat lamp head
A linear, flat lamp head defines the appearance. This shape suits businesslike, modern surroundings in particular – on office buildings, company premises or newly designed squares. Light is directed downwards and illuminates the area evenly.
Setting the colour temperature by switch
You select the colour temperature directly at the luminaire: 3000 K feels warm and homely, 3500 K sits comfortably in between, 4000 K is neutral and bright. Simply twist off the cover and move the small switch – done. On request 1800 K is also available, a very warm amber tone that attracts considerably fewer insects and suits nature-close areas.
Setting the power by switch
Three power steps in one luminaire: you decide during installation how bright it should be. If a path later needs more or less light, simply change the step instead of replacing the luminaire. That keeps planning flexible and saves energy in the long run.
| Power step | Power | Luminous flux |
|---|---|---|
| Step 1 (maximum) | 60 W | 9,900 lm |
| Step 2 | 40 W | 6,600 lm |
| Step 3 (minimum) | 20 W | 3,300 lm |
Type V light distribution – even light all around
This luminaire uses a Type V light distribution. This means light is emitted evenly all around, reaching equally far in every direction. This distribution is the right choice when the luminaire stands in the middle of an area – on squares, in courtyards, on car parks or at path junctions. The beam fades out softly so that no hard light-and-dark edges appear and dark corners are avoided.
As standard the luminaire is supplied exclusively with the Type V optic. For larger projects, however, other light distributions can be arranged: from a corresponding order quantity onwards we manufacture the luminaire with a directional optic on request, for example for narrow paths or areas that need to be lit from one side. Simply get in touch with your planned quantity and we will check what can be realised for your project.

Modular design: quick installation, easy maintenance
The luminaire is part of a modular system. The lamp head is fitted via a plug connector and secured with a few screws – with no wiring on site. A head can therefore be mounted in seconds or later swapped for a different shape. The driver is connected via plug contacts too and can be replaced during service without rewiring.
Brand components: Lumileds LEDs and Sosen driver
Two components largely determine how long an outdoor luminaire lasts: the LEDs and the driver. The luminaire uses Lumileds 2835 LEDs, known for their consistent light quality and long service life. They are powered by a Sosen driver – a manufacturer whose drivers have proven themselves in harsh outdoor conditions for years. This combination ensures consistent brightness across many years of operation.
Spare parts available – LED module and driver individually replaceable
Spare part availability is a real cost factor with outdoor luminaires. With this luminaire you can obtain both the LED module and the driver individually – both are pluggable and replaced in a short time, with no wiring work at all. Instead of scrapping the entire luminaire after a defect, you replace only the affected component. That saves money, conserves resources and keeps your installation consistent for many years.
Long service life – L70, L80 and L90 explained
The lifetime figures L70B50: 100,000 h, L80B50: 76,000 h and L90B50: 52,000 h describe how slowly brightness declines over the years. After around 100,000 operating hours the luminaire still delivers about 70 % of its original luminous flux. For operators that means predictable maintenance, no regular lamp changes and an even lighting result over a long time.
Ruggedly built for outdoor use
The luminaire is built for outdoor use: IP66 means complete protection against dust and against powerful water jets – rain, snow and jet cleaning do it no harm. IK08 stands for high impact resistance as required in public spaces. The integrated 10 kV surge protection shields the electronics during thunderstorms and mains fluctuations.
Mounting on the pole
The luminaire is placed horizontally on the pole top and screwed down. Because the adapter is designed for pole diameters of 60 mm and 76 mm, existing poles can usually be reused – an important point when modernising an old installation. It runs on 100–277 V, Safety Class I.
