A smart optical concept makes this track luminaire remarkably flexible. The central module delivers flat, low-glare base brightness, while the two tiltable side spots highlight shelves, goods or work zones with precision – all from one seamless light line. For controllable lighting this linear luminaire is optionally available as a DALI-2 version. It can then be dimmed steplessly and integrated conveniently into modern light-management and building-control systems.

Central light + two tiltable spots

The central light emits at a wide 100° beam and lays down an even base brightness across the room. The two outer spots use a 30° × 90° optic and tilt steplessly between 0° and 30°, so you can place accents exactly where needed without moving the luminaire.

For shelf and aisle lighting the tiltable spots are ideal – the light can be aimed exactly at shelf boards and displays, presenting goods along the aisles bright and appealing.

Perfect colour rendering for retail & boutiques

With a colour rendering index of CRI > 90 this luminaire shows colours almost as they appear in daylight. Reds, skin tones and material shades stay rich and natural – a decisive advantage in boutiques, fashion stores, jewellers and anywhere goods need to look their best. Fabrics, food and displays appear more premium, actively supporting the buying decision.

Long service life – L80 at 100,000 hours

L80 at 100,000 hours means: after 100,000 operating hours the LEDs still emit at least 80 % of their initial luminous flux. Light output declines only slowly and evenly over the entire service life, so the luminaire stays bright even after years of continuous use.

High-quality LED chips by Sanan

This luminaire uses high-quality LED chips from Sanan. Its chips are known for high efficacy, excellent colour consistency and reliable long-term stability – qualities relied upon by many renowned lighting brands worldwide. This forms the basis for the high efficiency and long service life of the VU3 luminaire.

Mounting & track compatibility

As a track spotlight for the 3-phase busbar, the luminaire is flexible to place, aim and extend. Via its adapter it is compatible with the common standards: Stucchi, Global, Staff, Unipro, Eutrac, Ivela and the EU universal standard. The three phases allow separately switchable lighting groups on one track. Up to 13 luminaires per circuit (< 800 W), Safety Class I with protective earth.

Choose your colour temperature

• 3000 K warm white – suited to hospitality, boutiques, hotels and reception areas.
• 4000 K neutral white – the right choice for office, retail, boutiques, showrooms and workshops.
• 5000 K daylight white – ideal for technical work, assembly, labs and visually demanding areas.
• 6000 K cool white – proven in storage, production, work halls and high spaces.

Why CRI > 90 delivers slightly fewer lumens

The CRI > 90 variant intentionally reaches a slightly lower luminous flux than the CRI > 80 version – for a physical reason. Higher colour rendering calls for a fuller spectrum with more red and deep-red content. The eye is less sensitive precisely in this spectral range, and the additional phosphor conversion costs some efficiency. So at the same wattage you get slightly fewer lumens and marginally lower efficacy (lm/W) – in exchange for noticeably more natural, richer colours.

Black housing: luminous flux & look

The black-housing version intentionally reaches a slightly lower luminous flux than the white one – for a physical reason. Inside the luminaire, part of the light hits the housing and optic surfaces. White surfaces bounce this light back and outward with almost no loss, while black surfaces absorb some of it and turn it into heat. Less reflected light means a marginally lower lumen figure and slightly lower efficacy (lm/W). In exchange, the black version glares less and blends particularly elegantly and unobtrusively into demanding spaces such as boutiques and showrooms.
