This linear luminaire for 3-phase track systems merges wide central lighting with two tiltable accent spots. The result is even base illumination that can be focused precisely on individual areas whenever needed – ideal for retail, office and workshop environments. For controllable lighting this linear luminaire is optionally available as a DALI-2 version. It can then be dimmed steplessly and integrated conveniently into modern light-management and building-control systems.

Central light + two tiltable spots
The central light emits at a wide 100° beam and lays down an even base brightness across the room. The two outer spots use a 30° × 90° optic and tilt steplessly between 0° and 30°, so you can place accents exactly where needed without moving the luminaire.
The tiltable spots are excellent for shelf lighting: they aim the light straight at shelves and aisles, provide evenly lit displays and keep products clearly visible even deep inside the aisles.

Long service life – L80 at 100,000 hours
The L80 / 100,000 h value describes flux stability: even after 100,000 operating hours the LEDs deliver at least 80 % of their initial brightness. Instead of a sudden failure, brightness drops only gradually – making maintenance easy to plan.

Mounting & track compatibility
The LED VU3 linear luminaire is designed for the 3-phase track system and clicks onto the busbar via an adapter. Thanks to the three phases, luminaires can run on separate circuits and be switched independently. It is compatible with the common track systems Stucchi, Global, Staff, Unipro, Eutrac, Ivela and the EU universal standard. Up to 16 luminaires can be connected per circuit (< 800 W). Safety Class I ensures a secure protective-earth connection.

Neutral white light feels businesslike and aids concentration – the right choice for office, retail, boutiques, showrooms and workshops.
Why CRI > 90 delivers slightly fewer lumens
The fact that CRI > 90 delivers somewhat fewer lumens than CRI > 80 is directly linked to its better colour rendering. To render colours true to life, the LED needs a broader spectrum with an increased red share. This share contributes less to measured brightness because the eye is less responsive there, and the required conversion causes extra losses. The result is a slightly lower luminous flux and somewhat lower efficacy (lm/W) – a worthwhile trade wherever perfect colours matter more than the last lumen.
