The Highlight

Invisible Microwave Sensor Beneath the Diffuser Plate

Unlike conventional PIR sensors with a visible sensor eye, the microwave sensor of this panel sits completely behind the diffuser. Motion detection works via high-frequency radar signals that pass through the polystyrene diffuser layer ? no visible opening, no sensor eye, no compromise on the pure panel aesthetic.

Your Benefits

Why This Sensor Panel?

EYE

Invisible Sensor

The microwave sensor sits hidden beneath the diffuser ? no visible sensor optics, no drill hole, no visual disruption of the panel design. Ideal for refined architecture and office design.

5G

Microwave Technology

High-frequency radar (5.8 GHz) detects motion reliably ? through the diffuser and even partially through thin materials such as plasterboard or glass. Significantly more precise than PIR sensors, with no temperature or light influence.

LIFUD

Lifud LED Driver

Lifud is one of the world's leading LED driver manufacturers. Power factor =0.95, flicker-free constant current technology and 1?10 V / PWM dimming for maximum compatibility.

lm/W

150 lm/W Efficacy

4,200 lumens from just 28 watts ? a system efficacy of 150 lm/W. Combined with the sensor, actual energy consumption is further significantly reduced.

DIM

DIP Switch Power & Dimmable

Seven power levels selectable via DIP switch on the driver (28–42 W). Additionally, the panel can be continuously dimmed via the remote control and sensor programming – perfect for daylight-responsive lighting control.

UGR<22

Glare-Free with 120° Beam

Texture PS diffuser plate ensures uniform light distribution across 120° with UGR

Back-Lit Technology

Why Back-Lit Beats Edge-Lit

Unlike budget edge-lit panels, where LEDs sit only at the edge and the light has to be redirected via a reflector plate, in back-lit panels the LEDs are evenly distributed behind the diffuser ? directly across the entire illuminated surface. The result: noticeably more homogeneous light, higher efficacy and no visible hotspots or dark zones.

Uniform Light Distribution
LEDs across the entire diffuser area ? no visible LED dots, no stripe patterns, no edge hotspots like with edge-lit panels.
Higher Efficacy
Lower light losses from reflection paths ? light is no longer fed in sideways and redirected, but radiates directly downwards.
Better Heat Dissipation
LEDs are spread across the entire back side ? heat is distributed over a larger area, extending LED lifespan.
Longer Lifespan
Due to lower thermal stress on individual LEDs, a back-lit panel typically achieves a significantly higher rated lifespan than a comparable edge-lit panel.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the panel work without the remote control?
Yes ? the panel comes with pre-set sensor parameters (typically: 60 sec hold time, 100% sensitivity, no daylight limit). For individual adjustments or to activate standby and daylight functions, the optional remote control is required.
How exactly does a microwave sensor work?
The sensor emits high-frequency radio waves (5.8 GHz) and measures changes in reflection. When a person or object moves within the detection range, the reflection pattern changes ? and the panel switches on. Unlike PIR sensors, no heat radiation is measured, so detection is independent of temperature or clothing.
Can one remote control multiple panels?
Yes ? a single remote control can configure all panels within range simultaneously. For larger installations, one remote per floor is typically sufficient, as the settings are stored in each panel.
What is the difference between back-lit and edge-lit panels?
In back-lit panels, the LEDs are evenly distributed behind the diffuser ? resulting in more uniform light distribution, higher efficacy and fewer hotspots compared with edge-lit panels, where LEDs sit only at the edge. Back-lit is the higher-quality technology.
Which colour temperatures are available?
This version is supplied in 3000 K (Warm White). The panel is also available in 3000 K (warm white), 4000 K (neutral white) and 6000 K (cool white) ? please order separately if needed.
