Description
LED VU3 Linear Luminaire – Central Light + Two Tiltable Spots
900 mm · white · 6000 K cool white · CRI > 90
This linear luminaire for 3-phase track systems merges wide central lighting with two tiltable accent spots. The result is even base illumination that can be focused precisely on individual areas whenever needed – ideal for retail, office and workshop environments. For controllable lighting this linear luminaire is optionally available as a DALI-2 version. It can then be dimmed steplessly and integrated conveniently into modern light-management and building-control systems.

Central light + two tiltable spots
The central light emits at a wide 100° beam and lays down an even base brightness across the room. The two outer spots use a 30° × 90° optic and tilt steplessly between 0° and 30°, so you can place accents exactly where needed without moving the luminaire.
For shelf and aisle lighting the tiltable spots are ideal – the light can be aimed exactly at shelf boards and displays, presenting goods along the aisles bright and appealing.
Perfect colour rendering for retail & boutiques
For the highest demands on colour fidelity: CRI > 90 reveals subtle nuances that weaker light sources swallow. In fashion boutiques, jewellery stores, bakeries and showrooms colours appear rich and true to life – ideal wherever perfect colour rendering drives sales.
Long service life – L80 at 100,000 hours
100,000 hours at L80 means that only after this long operating period does luminous flux fall below 80 % of the initial value. Until then illumination stays almost constant – a clear benefit for operators focused on low maintenance and long service life.
High-quality LED chips by Sanan
At the heart of the luminaire are LED chips by Sanan – one of the largest and most respected LED chip manufacturers in the world. The listed company from Xiamen produces several hundred billion LED chips per year and supplies international technology corporations, among others. Sanan chips stand for excellent efficiency, tight colour tolerances and high operational reliability – reflected in even light, stable colour rendering and long service life.
Mounting & track compatibility
Mounted via a track adapter on a 3-phase busbar, the luminaire can be positioned freely along the track and switched separately across the three phases. It fits the widespread track systems Stucchi, Global, Staff, Unipro, Eutrac, Ivela and the EU universal standard. Up to 14 luminaires may run per circuit (< 800 W). Connection is Safety Class I with protective earth.
Colour temperature 6000 K – cool white
Cool white light provides maximum brightness and contrast – proven in storage, production, work halls and high spaces.
Why CRI > 90 delivers slightly fewer lumens
Why does the CRI > 90 version deliver slightly fewer lumens than the CRI > 80 one? A very high colour rendering requires a broader, more balanced LED spectrum – especially with a higher share of red. This additional red and deep-red content sits in a range to which the human eye is less sensitive, and the phosphor conversion needed for it introduces extra losses. As a result, at the same power the perceived luminous flux (lumens) and thus the efficacy in lm/W decrease. In return you get more true-to-life, more brilliant colours – at the cost of a marginally lower lumen figure.
